The Essential Phone List -- Tariff plans (BSNL)

Tariff plans (BSNL)

The large number of providers of landline and mobile services makes it difficult to list tariffs for every service and every plan.

Many of us, however, are still users of BSNL landline phones and this page lists applicable voice tariffs from Pondicherry. We try to keep the information on this page as up to date as possible but BSNL, as it becomes increasingly market-savvy, changes tariff plans often. Before taking any decision based on information here, please check with BSNL directly.

OneIndia

OneIndia is BSNL's default tariff plan that charges Rs.1 per minute (plus tax) for all national landline calls.

The following tables summarize OneIndia charges for BSNL landline phones. Tax at 10.3% is included in the following calculations:

Rent

Rs.199.00
Free call units/month

Note that BSNL offers discounts for advance rental payments. If you pay for one year in advance ("Plan 1200"), you pay only Rs.1324 and save Rs.1064. For even greater savings, you can pay Rs.2382 for two years in advance ("Plan 2160"); you save Rs.2394.
